Awesome Tip: Clarifying My Thoughts on Hard Work, Hustle, and Happiness | Gary Vaynerchuk Original Film

A lot of people misunderstand what I mean when I talk about “hustling” and “working your face off” …

The truth is, I just want people to be happy. If your ambition is to own a sports team or build a big business, there’s no way you can get there without putting in an obnoxious amount of hard work.

On the other hand … if you’re happy working 7-8 hours a day and being part of two softball teams, that’s amazing!

I’m not trying to push people to work like me … I’m just trying to push people to back up their ambitions.

  1. Hard work is truly the key. It build your passion, it builds your energy and it can take you to places if you keep doing it long enough.

  2. I think my opinion is just keep learning, even though if isn’t you love to do, just try to learn from it. But of course I still prioritize the things what I love the most to do. Further always be happy and try to do some activities that will leisure my self, like doing adventure, going at beach, waterfalls, something that give peace into my mind and relax. And always document my activities wherever I go, putting it into my channel.

  3. Gary is helping me achieve my dreams this year in 2019! My media campaigns are really taking off, blew up my insta using Igrocket com love the advice you have been giving!

  4. Can you love Monday when you are still in school and you cannot change it and when we have fucking PE (in which I personally suck) I have fucking depression. And I can't change it and that's even worse. I love programming and that's what I want to do to end of my life. But I can't do it because I need to study and do my homework and I have time to do this on Fridays and weekends and that's why I love it.

  5. Excuses are position I’ve been poisoned your the cure Gary thank you your unlocking minds in ways you may or may not be aware of but fuck you seem like you get it more than I when the student is ready the teacher and lessons will appear And become more clear I haven’t been acting out who I am inside the guy who used to sell on the school yard paper round and more your I’m learning sales and all that go into it now! I just took time to type this and post on instagram to document fuck I have to keep it up for life

  6. This guy knows what everyone knows but it's the people who actually do something that will be successful. Most important is to have a plan. You live as an individual and you're supposed to live to better yourself. I'm 17 right now and waiting for high school to be over because I have a plan. It so happens to work out that my 18th birthday is the day of my prom and I'll finally be graduating 4 days later. As soon as I turn 18 I'm opening a stock trading/investing account. I'm currently working a delivery job and I'm taking on a second seasonal job as the Easter bunny accumulate even more money to fund my trading account. Making small steps towards a better future takes a desire and fulfilling that desire takes commitment. I don't expect anyone to take me seriously because I'm just a random comment on YouTube but maybe one day I'll be the one motivating and passing down this information.

  7. This video makes me not to regret the time spent in personal development and trying to understand why i choose to go to an university and if i am passionate about the subject i want to study!

  8. I was diving on my shit, complaining about my life, my results… but suddenly this man appeared in my life. Im going to put your words and thoughts in my life now on. We will see on the top, right? 🙂

  9. I love every word that was in this video, but I want to know who the 34 dislike people are. I make crap videos on my iPhone 5, but I get 1 or 2 dislikes on all my vids. I dont give a fuck, but its like "hmmm, besides my quality, what did I say that pissed someone off" Then I forget about the whole thing in like a minute

  10. Hey Gary, i just got hooked onto your videos for last 12 hours straight. Until yesterday, i didn’t even know that someone like you exist. This is my first ever comment on any youtube channel, so it’s really special. I have never connected so intensely with any you-tuber or entrepreneur like this before.

I will start with an opportunity to grab your attention, I am an entrepreneur with the passion and capability to build the next billion dollar business while still being a nice guy in town.

I have a startup called, “PARTY HUNT”, an online platform to find nearby live-music events. I am on a mission to make everyone dance. It’s currently available only in Goa, India. I got 12k users from 90+ nations in first 4 months with almost no investment. I did everything, design, code, social media, finance, legal, sales, marketing, single-handedly with the help of few volunteers..

You are tricking businesses to become more nice and i am bringing nice people together to create a business. We can speed up the process of bridging the gap between nice people and businesses to change the world inside-out by working from both ends. I would like you to become the angel investor of my startup. I will be waiting to hear from you.

Thank you for your time to read this.

  11. Hey Gary,

What’s your advice for a 44 year old just starting out at trying to build a business? What are the shortcuts to results if I work hard and hustle.

Ps. I’m watching what your doing.

    Pps. I’m listening.

  12. I tend to forget that I exist in the moment and sometimes my mind speeds ahead of me,it usually takes a couple of weeks for reality to kick my body in the right frequency. How can I maintain same frequency with dedicating most of my time to what I truly love?
